I had 4 and would take them with me to the neighborhood Dairy Queen. The young man got to know us because as soon as the speaker came on they would start barking with me yelling "BE QUIET!" The young man would laugh and be very patient. One day we drove to the window and after I yelled again he said "Lady, just forget it, you ain't never gonna get them to Be Quiet!" He laughed and gave all four treats and the next time they all crammed into my window and didn't bark! They were waiting on their treats! And they got them.
I have a chiweenie and his personality is exactly his dachshund side of his genes, I see no chihuahua in him and he pretty much a energetic dog that loves sleeping under blankets and he enjoys belly rubs, and barking at anything. His mother was a chihuahua while you can already guess what his father was, a dachshund. He is truly a gift from God, I love him so much he's my bundle of joy.
When you sit down they are in your lap, in the kitchen they stand by you with a paw on your foot, when you are sitting on the toilet they will curl up between your legs in your pants. Not clingy at all. When they pass you will have a hole in your life. Very loving pups.❤❤❤❤
Dyablita has been doing great as a mother. It’s amazing how mother dogs have that kind of natural instinct to know all the things that they have to do for their pupies (even on their first time being a furent!) Puppies are two weeks old now. Such a good mother dog. I had 2 short haired miniature dachund, one black and tan the other red. Did not know they came in white and black. Such happy mischivious intelligent loving dogs they were. Now where I live I can't have a dog however enjoy your videos very much.

When my Doxie got in trouble, I'd look at him, then tell him he's just one loaf of bread and a jar of mustard away from being lunch. He knew he was in trouble them!
I've only owned one dachshund, but had other short dogs (corgi mixes). Whats so comical about them is they do really silly stuff with the most serious faces! Sadly can't have pets right now, so watching these videos is a shot in the arm.
